Old Orchard Hall Wedding Photographer: Karen & Stephen

I met Karen before Stephen, and I couldn't believe how much of the ideal couple these two were for us. I feel so blessed that we are continuing to attract like minded individuals, fun loving couples this past year and very excited for our summer weddings!

We photographed Karen & Stephen's engagement in Whistler last Winter and saw the connection these two have first hand. The way Stephen looks at Karen like he has won the lottery and the way she just wants to cuddle up tightly to him, because it feels right. We saw this on their engagement session, and even more so on their wedding day.

The Ceremony was at Immanuel Christian Reform Church and it was beautiful. With some of my own personal favourite praise songs, I was excitedly behind the camera waiting for smiles and whispers of the two of them during their ceremony.

Old Orchard Hall was the perfect Reception site on a beautifully warm sunny day. With doors open to the back veranda and views of the Port Moody inlet. Karen & Stephen delicately picked all the details fitting to their personalities. Guests could fill decorative pouches with David's Tea or Coffee blends. Cup cakes filled the table beneath their wedding cake following their theme. Wild flowers in custom boxes centred the round tables in the hall as the warm sunset light filtered through the windows viewing the inlet.

Dear Karen & Stephen,

It was a beautiful wedding and we felt honoured to be apart of it - thank you so much. We wish you all the best and can't wait to hear about your honeymoon! So glad to have met such wonderful new friends.

With much love - your photographers,

Ashley & Verlon

  13. After all of the pictures are taken the next thing to do is decide how you would like to keep the pictures. Some people like to put pictures in a wooden frame and others like to keep the photos as a series of pictures in an album. professional headshots brisbane
