Salmon Arm Wedding Photographer: Prestige Harbourfront Resort // Dayne & Shelley

It's something kind of surreal seeing the first of your friends get married and then it's realizing I guess we're all at that age where it all starts happening. Getting, married, building a family, - I guess you can call it growing up. Verlon and I were both truly excited when Dayne and Shelley told us they were going to sign and get married in Salmon Arm this past September. They had wanted to do a destination wedding which they're still planning on doing so but there was some very important individuals like Dayne's grandmother that has had a decline in health and it was truly important to the two of them to have her there.

It had been pouring rain all morning - oh summer where did you go? And then right before their signing the weather cleared right up and the sunshine came out and warmed us during the outdoor ceremony by the commissioner and Dayne's step mother performed a traditional Native ceremony covering Dayne & Shelley with a blanket to warm each other and unite.

Really excited to celebrate with Dayne & Shelley's in the tropics for their Destination Wedding!

Langley Engagement & Wedding Photographer // Jamie & Craig // Campbell Valley Park

The last days of summer have been so hard to let go of - when it's been so stormy it's been a shift switch to turning into fall weather. Jamie & Craig's September Engagement was the perfect way to say goodbye to summer with the warm sunshine for our session at Campbell Valley Park. It was a beautiful afternoon.

The two were amazing in front of the camera which just gets me incredibly excited for their wedding coming up this October in Fort Langley. Craig and Jamie went through mutual friends and have been together for 9 years! Craig proposed with surprise of putting the ring on her finger while she was sleeping - when she woke up and saw the ring - Craig proposed.
