Alicia & Harry // Engagement Vancouver and Wedding Photographer New West Quay

Spending the evening with these two it was clear to see the energy between them. They met at church and slowly started developing something very special. Alicia is one beautiful fire cracker and Harry reminded me of the most charming gentlemen to his lovely fiancé. The way he talked about her is the way every girl dreams of their men talking about them. The way they spoke of how excited they are for their lives to start together after the wedding and all the adventures they will have as husband and wife and in the mean while preparing their home.

We spoke about all the little mundane things that as we get older and married we become so complacent with that are so exciting initially and forget to remember it's a luxury like simply going grocery shopping together, buying those first pieces of furniture, attending church, prayer together, dinners at the dinning table, buying sheets... I could go on and on. Those precious moments I still try to treasure in the midst of busy life.

One of my favourite things is how Verlon and I simply go and check the mail at night at our community box. It's our chance to walk up the street just him and I, no technology and for those brief 10 minutes I have him all to myself to just check in with. Without any distractions, no worries about making dinner, cleaning up and preparing for another day - just enjoying our walk. We actually just bought our first coffee table together (I had all the old furniture in the apartment, heyo Ikea! We've moved up to Crate and Barrel.... ooooh ahhh).

Alicia and Harry reminded me to keep being excited and not be consumed with the everyday. Young Love and excitement was in the air and ever so intoxicating!

Randi & Matt // Langley Vancouver Engagement and Wedding Photographer

Randi & Matt won my heart from the start. After our first consultation meeting I had my fingers crossed that I would have the privilege of being their wedding photographer. Randi is by far one of the sweetest woman I've ever met. Her love for all things Canadiana shines through with pride and when I say Canadiana I'm talking maple leafs, syrup, history, red and white all over. Knowing this, Matt even proposed at a Canadiana style Bed & Breakfast!

A little note from Randi:

"Matt and I believe strongly that fate brought us together as we had met in passing several times before we actually started dating. We have been together for 8 years now and are very excited to take the next step and tie the knot. We are both big music lovers and honestly just enjoy to have fun, keep things light and laugh as much as possible. My favorite quality about Matt is his warmth, he is a truly kind and caring person who has always had my best interests at heart. He would say his favorite thing about me is my passion for life and all those in mine. We both have slightly different honeymoon ideals so we plan to do both, We are hoping to do a mini-moon right after the wedding to Vegas for a few days and a larger honeymoon a few months later to somewhere warm, lazy and tropical . I'm a huge Canadiana Nerd (Canada Day is my favorite holiday of the year) so Matt took me to the Oh' Canada house B&B in Vancouver for my "birthday". It was originally built in 1897 by the guy the wrote the very first version of Oh' Canada. Needless to say I was in my geeky glory lol. He proposed on Canada Day after spending the day checking out all the Canada Day festivities. Then he took me to cloud nine restaurant where I really was on cloud nine. It was perfect. :)

It may be cliche but the most exciting thing about getting married to us is to be husband and wife. We're also very excited to share it with all our family and friends who mean the world to us. Of course were excited about the party too. ;)"
