Natalie and Desmond met at Kwantlen as assigned lab partners. Yes, it is as romantic movie as it gets. Boy meets Girl, in the most unsuspecting kind of way. Now Des, he totally was into Natalie and what is the best way to get a woman to fall in love with you? Well, casually throw it out there and say you just happen to have Canuck hockey tickets vs. Dallas Stars (when he didn’t) and see if she says ‘yes’. She did and Des had to scramble to get some tickets to a hockey game that would change their lives. It would be the first date of many forever dates, because she will soon become his wife.
Many moons later, it was time - Desmond had the ring and was ready to ask the big question. In White Rock (before the pier was gone) it seemed like the best way to propose. The walk way in White Rock would lay the scene and a dinner at Boathouse. Needless to say, she did say “YES”. And with A bottle of Dirty Laundry - “Say Yes” it’s official - Natalie and Desmond are engaged!
We spent the spring afternoon in Pitt Meadows for their engagement session with the mountains and sunshine soaking up the romance an excitement while making cheesey jokes together. These two have such an energy together, I feel so lucky to be their wedding photographer. I love my couples, when we’re a fit, we’re truly a fit.
