Last year I had the privilege to come assist and photograph behind the scenes for our friends Jasalyn Thorne Photography who I hold in very high regard - Jasalyn & Jason are vets of the photography industry in Vancouver and one of the best husband and wife fine-art photographers. I was invited to come and photograph her vision and all the behind the scenes of the editorial which I can hardly articulate how excited and grateful I feel.
I had the privilege to see Jasalyn's vision transform from sketches to the amazing editorial featured in the latest Wedluxe. Jasalyn invited me to be involved along with some incredibly talented vendors in Vancouver which were such a pleasure to work with. There are a lot of photographers out there, but few amazing photographers with genuine character - Jasalyn is one amazing woman. I'm so thrilled to know such a lovely woman and friend.

I have been so lucky to have worked with Jayna in the past. Jayna is one of the best. That's all there is to it. She is so incredibly talented at what she does. Not only is she amazing but she is fun, her laugh is contagious and you know having her around your going to be having a good time. Everyone knows it - this girl has heaps of talent. Brides, look no further - seriously.

The arrangements were so lovely and delicately put together with luxurious colours. Mehrshid Tahmasebi-Mahboubi is one of the sweetest women along with her husband who were busily setting up the editorial the morning of. She made me fall in love with the beauty and talent that goes behind flower arrangement and how intricate each placement was to placed all part of her perfect vision.
Blush Bridal & Special Occasions
When I was a little girl I played dress up and would always dream up the day I would wear an elegant wedding dress with the finest fabrics. The dresses Jasalyn had on hand for the editorial were amazing. They're the dresses you dream of. After the editorial Jasalyn and I returned the gowns to the boutique and were greeted by ladies there who were exactly what you dream up they would be. Fashionistas with heart ready to assist with finding the perfect dress. We walked through the boutique (as I hadn't been there before) and it was truly an experience. Placing the slippers on my feet as I walked through the rows of beautiful gowns in silks, laces and more. Dreaming of when it would be my turn to try them on. I cannot wait to go and try on dresses at Blush. I was swooning all day being around such amazing dresses.
