Randi & Matt // Langley Vancouver Engagement and Wedding Photographer

Randi & Matt won my heart from the start. After our first consultation meeting I had my fingers crossed that I would have the privilege of being their wedding photographer. Randi is by far one of the sweetest woman I've ever met. Her love for all things Canadiana shines through with pride and when I say Canadiana I'm talking maple leafs, syrup, history, red and white all over. Knowing this, Matt even proposed at a Canadiana style Bed & Breakfast!

A little note from Randi:

"Matt and I believe strongly that fate brought us together as we had met in passing several times before we actually started dating. We have been together for 8 years now and are very excited to take the next step and tie the knot. We are both big music lovers and honestly just enjoy to have fun, keep things light and laugh as much as possible. My favorite quality about Matt is his warmth, he is a truly kind and caring person who has always had my best interests at heart. He would say his favorite thing about me is my passion for life and all those in mine. We both have slightly different honeymoon ideals so we plan to do both, We are hoping to do a mini-moon right after the wedding to Vegas for a few days and a larger honeymoon a few months later to somewhere warm, lazy and tropical . I'm a huge Canadiana Nerd (Canada Day is my favorite holiday of the year) so Matt took me to the Oh' Canada house B&B in Vancouver for my "birthday". It was originally built in 1897 by the guy the wrote the very first version of Oh' Canada. Needless to say I was in my geeky glory lol. He proposed on Canada Day after spending the day checking out all the Canada Day festivities. Then he took me to cloud nine restaurant where I really was on cloud nine. It was perfect. :)

It may be cliche but the most exciting thing about getting married to us is to be husband and wife. We're also very excited to share it with all our family and friends who mean the world to us. Of course were excited about the party too. ;)"

Erin & Keith - THE WEDDING // Langley Engagement and Wedding Photographer - A Medieval Wedding

Something very different for us, but very fun -- we photographed our second Medieval Wedding and to do it justice, I feel like this blogpost deserves to be told as the true fairy tale story it is.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful Princess named Erin, who hailed from a mystical land of the White of Rock. Her Viking Prince Keith had conquered the land to win her heart and the two were to be wed. With Princess Erin's love for the stage and theatre, Keith would assist with the productions simply to get close to the lovely Erin. It was clearly evident that the two were meant for one another.

The wedding was filled with many Earls, Jesters, Maidens, Princesses, Princes, Kings and Queens and a few disney characters from Brave & Frozen (oh adorable kiddos). It was a feast for the nation filled with love and laughter. And to do this blog post justice we shall include a quote:

"Mawwiage. Mawwiage is what bwings us togethew today. Mawwiage, that bwessed awwangement, that dweam within a dweam. And wove, twue wove, wiww fowwow you fowevah and evah… So tweasuwe youw wove"
