It's not every day you meet a football player... it's not everyday that football player plays for the LFL in Seattle! Veronica plays football for the Seattle Mist and Brent stole her heart when they met and with a ring he would ask her to be his wife. The Big day is next year and we couldn't be more excited for them. 

We always talk about how important it is to our couples to prepare for their marriage not just the wedding and suggest some of our favourite books. The engagement period is such an important time to stay connected with each other and taking moments to cherish that you've found the one your going to spend the rest of your life with. Life is so incredibly precious and its easy to get complacent with the everyday. If there is anything I can leave my couples with its the reminder to cherish moments together and to make time together. In the midst of the planning and the busy, never forget to take time to just be with each other.

Nicole and Mitch's proposal is one of my favourite stories I've heard over the years. There's something so special about an airport and I'm slightly bias because of how Verlon and I started dating at an airport. 

They were on their way out east to visit family and as they got out of the car at the Domestic Terminal drop off - Mitch got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Thus the most fitting engagement session at YVR. I loved photographing there with these two - they were so much fun! We walked throughout the airport and then went to one of our favourite spots to watch the planes land. Cannot wait for their wedding next year.
