Melissa & Jon's Engagement - Crescent Beach

There's something to be said about being let in to viewing a couple acting natural with each other, cuddling up, and having genuine moments with each other while being the photographer who documents it. Melissa and Jon decided to enjoyed one of their bottles of wine from their engagement party while on their shoot and enjoy the afternoon at the park. We walked around the lovely park in the heat of summer, through an orchard and on the docks over the ocean. 

Dancing in an orchard, under an apple tree - sitting on a porch and sipping red wine. It was the perfect afternoon.

Newsha & Ludo // Vancouver Engagement Session, Vancouver Wedding Photographer

We met Newsha & Ludo at my good friend from college's wedding in Dominican Republic, our first destination wedding! Ludo and Newsha were such a blast at the wedding, we all hit it off instantly and enjoyed our time with them hoping we would touch base again soon. They had just started dating then, and now they're engaged and getting married this summer! Our excitement went through the roof when they contacted us to tell us about their engagement and if we could be their wedding photographers!

Their Coal Harbour engagement was so much fun especially during our spurt of fantastic weather this May. It felt so natural wandering the city on a beautiful day with these two and watching them share their passion for each other on camera. It's so evident that the spark they once shared back when we met them in Dominican, has turned into a fire. As a photographer, I loved watching these two together and loved photographing it all.

We're so very excited to be apart of their big day and to work along side some fantastic wedding planners Filosophi Events in Vancouver.
