 I've had the pleasure of photographing at Golden Eagle Golf Club for a number of years and always have a soft spot for this venue. It's not often that you find a venue with a staff team that feels like a family and staff who have been there for years. I've been lucky enough to join this fantastic team on many occasions to celebrate weddings over the years and I find myself happily coming back to one of my favourite places. Golden Eagle Golf Club has one of the best views in the valley. It's surrounded by our beautiful BC Mountains, and spectacular sunsets. It's one of my favourite locations for wedding photographs and the ease of the venue between having fantastic photo locations on property, nearby or being able to include a helicopter mountain top session with Sky Helicopters, makes it one of my favourite venues in the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver. J+E

J+E's Golden Eagle Golf Course was such a beautiful day. Couple's choosing to marry during the pandemic have pivoted beyond belief to make their big wedding dreams come true - albeit slightly different than originally planned and maybe not so big. On a beautiful fall day J+E tied the micro knot at Golden Eagle and the weather showed up beautifully for it.

We did their photographs nearby and then a sunset Sky Helicopters photoshoot from the Golden Eagle Golf Course up to the mountains above Wigeon Lake. With some of the smoke in the sky from the US wild fires it sure made for some fun sun light rays! 

I'm so blessed to work with such kind and gracious couples and J+E were exactly that. From the beginning of adapting to planning a wedding during a pandemic and pivoting to make necessary changes these two were absolute champs. By the time the wedding rolls around, after spending time together on an engagement shoot, I feel like we're friends with our couples not just vendors; between sharing their stories about how they met, learning to get to know them and their kitty Nika, to meeting their family on their wedding day. We always feel absolutely privilege to be apart of couple's forever memories.
