Mark told me "we actually met as teachers at that one week course and I ask her for coffee after I helped her with her Kindergarten Blog at the university we were visiting for the course."  and so began a life changing relationship that would have them walking down the aisle this summer. Between their cute smirks at each other and stealing kisses, these two were so much fun to photograph. 

After their long drive to the Coast from Alberta we started off the day at Granville Island and enjoyed the romantic rain in Vancouver. Granville Island has always been one of my favourite places after attending Emily Carr University there. There's something so special about the vibe there between the small shops and market and being right on the water with the view of the downtown core. 

It would be the perfect place to photograph these two and enjoy a walk around the area on a rainy romantic afternoon.

Sometimes you just know...

Sometimes you just know when you meet the right person suddenly all those doubts, fears and anxieties no longer exist only excitement towards planning a future together. This was the case right from the start with Danae & Clif. Passion isn't enough to describe the aura these two have encircling them. They both ironically had met at a wedding last year and instantly knew from the start that they were each other's match.

With their engagement photo session we started on a rainy/cloudy summer (yes, I just said summer!) day on Granville Island, with the day quickly turning to rain --  a 2nd session was set up for another day at the beach in Whiterock as that was rather important to the couple.
