Langley Engagement Photographer \\ Chelsea & Jake

I first met Chelsea & Jake at Danielle and Stephen's wedding this past August. Jake was one of Stephen's groomsmen. I had a chance to talk to the two of them at the wedding and was so taken by how they met each other. Verlon and I are hockey fans - so when we heard about how they first met on an NHL chat we thought it was awesome! Now, years later they are engaged and getting married!

Chelsea and Jake were troopers and rain wasn't going to stop their session from happening. Chelsea is an amazing go with the flow kind of girl that I just loved. With the concern of rain about, the two of them didn't care at all they just wanted to spend the afternoon together and celebrate their engagement. Photographing these two was a blast, I spent most of the session laughing as we all had a similar sense of humour. Between Chelsea and I joking around about us small girls and our tall men and watching Chelsea and Jake just let go and have fun with each other - I'm inspired by couples in love.

I feel so blessed to be able to be doing what I feel I am meant to. Photography is my calling and witnessing couples finding their love and entering into marriage is such an honour. Insert quote from 'The Princess Bride' "This is true love - you think this happens every day? "

Langley Newborn Photographer - Baby Scarlett

When Jen and Garrett one of my couples I photographed a few years ago contacted me that they were expecting a little girl and wanted me to photograph her - I was so thrilled! Knowing a couple that I had photographed their wedding and would now photograph their daughter is so amazing. It feels like such an honour to be there for such big moments in couples lives.

I'm so thankful that when I was a newborn my parents even hired a professional photographer to take photos of me. I love these photos of when I was a baby and some of my favourite photos with my two brothers. Okay and I also love that my mother made my brother Marco wear a pink button up shirt and I have a photograph that documents it.
