Kirkland House Wedding, Delta BC - Featured: Glamour & Grace

When I met with Kailey-Michelle earlier in the year we knew we wanted to work together on something beautiful. In June it all came together at the Kirkland House in Delta, BC. A beautifully styled editorial of 1950's Little Lady Tea. We had an amazing collaboration of vendors that I am so thankful for and everything looked beautiful! Thanks so everyone who was involved!

Taking the Brides to the Spa 2012

THANK YOU &
Merry Christmas to my Brides!

I wanted to make sure my brides knew how special the were to me and hence the 'Bridal Spa Day' was born. I sent out the invite to all the brides and was so glad that some of my brides could make it! It's hard to get everyone's schedule to work together, and brides who are from out of town but with excitement in my heart we gathered this past weekend to get "our nails did". We exchanged stories of what we were up to these days, Christmas plans, and how everyone was doing. The brides had a chance to meet each other and even commented on how they were following my blog and recognized each others photographs.

Breakfast at Tiffany's played in the background as we sipped our sparkling cider, picked our colours and laughed away the afternoon. My girls are amazing and I'm so glad to have been apart of their big days. I look forward to keeping in touch with them and hearing about their adventures in the future.

It was awesome to see all my brides again and I had fun spoiling them with a manicure! To my brides who couldn't make it - I hope you both have an incredible holiday and I wish you could have been there!

Vancouver Engagement Photographer - Moya & Arie Engaged

He never anticipated being surprised by a beautiful tall blonde woman or falling in love with her. Their romance began some years ago and they're finally saying their 'I do's' this December on 12-12-12. Whenever Arie spoke of Moya it was evident that he loves her passionately. The way he touched her set her at ease and felt natural to Moya. She would sink into his embrace with ease. With a little help from Arie's children he asked for Moya to be his wife.

When I spoke with Moya she was nervous about having an engagement session. What would she wear, where would we take the photos and was nervous about being in front of the camera. The beauty of an engagement session is that I have the chance to get to know you both better before the big day and it's a chance to get you both comfortable in front of my camera. My goal of the session is to allow you to be yourselves in front of the camera and just have fun.

Coming up with a plan for their engagement session was completely spontaneous all we knew is that Moya & Arie wanted to take the photos at their home. From there it evolved into a 'A Date at Home' - wine, cheese and crackers and then cuddling up on the couch in front of the fire. I love romantic images and loved the theme of the session that just happened so naturally.

A huge thank you goes to Moya & Arie for inviting me into their home for their session. I'm so very excited to be apart of your big day this December!!!
