Tofino Wedding Venues - Vancouver Island - Victoria - Wedding & Engagement Photographers

Reason's to get Married in Tofino/Ucluelet

First of all Tofino and Ucluelet are both beautiful places on Vancouver Island. Finding a ceremony spot with gorgeous coastline is easy and breath taking. After spending some time in Tofino & Ucluelet, I really wanted to write a post about having a wedding there and what great options are there and why I want to photograph your Tofino Wedding!

Tofino reminds me of Hawaii an Oregon wrapped up in a very Pacific Northwest Package and tied with an evergreen bow. If your looking for a beach location in the North West - this has to be the most perfect spot we have visited and photographed.

There's open ocean that brings beautiful waves on the beach in, ocean smell and air, small town charm, and so much more.

Fantastic Wedding Venues in Tofino were:

"The Wickaninnish Inn is situated on the westernmost point of residential Chesterman Beach." -

If your looking for something more traditional and with some city spoils - Wick Inn is certainly the place to be. We loved the views and beach along by Wick Inn. The rooms are also beautiful for guests, they will appreciate the care you sought when choosing a venue.

"Located on the peaceful and scenic Mackenzie beach off British Columbia's Clayoquot Sound"

Best Kept Surprise! The Best Western not only had such modest rates but the most amazing beach access and the rooms were updated. It's not a lavish hotel - but it's a great fit that can fit a lot of budgets!

Another set of beautiful beach front with west coast city flair. A great fit for the couple who is coming out from the city. The beach is beautiful and the Resort has the comforts of a relaxing stay.
Trip Advisor's 2016 choice

There are photographs below of the rocky shores of Black Rock Resort below. If your going for high quality hotel stay, good food and amazing view - this is it. There isn't so much a sandy beach but beautiful rocks and cliff side that would make for spectacular background for a wedding. The resort is beautiful & modern - a classy option.

No matter where you decide to have your wedding there are plenty of options  on the west coast and your wedding day is truly about the two of you -- only the two of you will remember your wedding day with such passion. I'd be honoured to capture your wedding on the west coast -  The most beautiful coastline is right here in our backyard.

Cherry Blossom Sakura Tree Wedding Photographer Engagement of Petra & Justin

P & J

cherry blossom sakura tree engagement photos

Petra & Justin are so incredibly adorable. Reasons why I love my job include the fact that I get to know such incredible couples before their wedding day. It helps them feel more comfortable in front of the camera and know me a better before the big day. We end up being more like friends versus a service provider - which I love. Tears behind the camera during speeches and all!

Not only do these two love Disneyland, cats, and cherry blossoms they're adorably in love with each other. When P showed up with her disney Dourney & Bourke purse my heart melted and I knew her and I were very much alike. Hearing about how she's nursed baby deer back to health at an animal care facility in Langley only made it easier to see how much an awesome woman she is. And while shyly looking away from the camera every once in a while the way J would look at her and sneak in for cuddles - he was crazy about her. She has no idea how beautiful she is to him. J's big requirement was that his future lady to love animals, in particular his cat 'Tiger' - and P fit the bill in so many ways - above and beyond. And J makes P laugh with his awesome sense of humour.

Their proposal story was the perfect fit for animal lovers - 'Tiger' the cat came out with a card on his collar saying "Will you Marry Me?"
J then appeared in a suit around the corner in their home and pop'd the question with the sparkly ring and all.

I'm so excited for their Little White House Wedding later this year!
